The Grand Hawk XP-28 iron has perimeter weighting that has been maximized to improve the moment of inertia (MOI). This improvment allows for more forgiveness on off-center strikes. Although the XP-28 has game improvement features, the center of gravity position has been designed to generate the optimal ball-flight trajectories. Its classic shape has a slightly thinner topline than most game improvement irons.
